The Marlborough Times, 21 March 1863:
An inquest has been held at Milton, near Pewsey, on the body of a boy 13 years of age named DRAPER, who had been kicked in the head by a horse he was leading to water, causing fracture of the skull, and died a few days afterwards. Verdict: "accidental death".

Wilts Easter Sessions
GEORGE MARTIN was found guilty of stealing a deal plank, the property of ABEL ROSIER, of Milton, near Pewsey, and sentenced to three calendar months' hard labour.

ROBERT VAISEY was charged with leaving the service of Mr JOHN SOMERSET of Milton. Fined 5s and ordered to return to his service.
