The Marlborough Times, 21 March 1863:
An inquest has been held at Milton, near Pewsey, on the body of a boy 13 years of age named DRAPER, who had been kicked in the head by a horse he was leading to water, causing fracture of the skull, and died a few days afterwards. Verdict: "accidental death".

GEORGE MARTIN was found guilty of stealing a deal plank, the property of ABEL ROSIER, of Milton, near Pewsey, and sentenced to three calendar months' hard labour.
